Press Release: ABBFN Annouces Winners of the Mr Universe Nigeria Championship
Lagos, Nigeria, 22 October 2023 – The Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation of Nigeria (ABBFN), in collaboration with International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB), is proud to announce the winners of the inaugural Mr Universe Nigeria Championship for men and women held on 21 October 2023 at the Muson Center, Lagos.
The championship saw an impressive tournout of participants from various countries, showcasing their dedication, hard work and passion for the sport. The event was a grand success, with athletes competing in various categories and displaying exceptional talent.

- Women’s Bikini Open: Winner – Sofiah Houndeve (Benin)
- Men’s Classic Physique Open: Winner – Mitonji Zannou (Benin)
- Men’s Physique Open: Winner – Abel Oyeneye (Nigeria)
